Twilight stars shack up

Twilight stars, Kirstin Stewart and Robert Pattinson, have reportedly shacked up in a secluded hideaway in the prestigious Bel Air area.

Shelterpop website states that the double storey house is actually the guesthouse of a private estate that hangs over the scenic Stone Canyon Reservoir and was listed for lease earlier this year with an asking price of $22,500 per month.

The home features a gourmet kitchen, office, one large bedroom, two bathrooms, an open living area, and massive expanses of glass overlooking tumbling hills and a water.

Celebrating a Melbourne Landmark

Melbourne has been home to many heritage listed advertising paraphernalia, from the famous Nylex clock to the Slade Knitwear sign, but none has been as popular and revered as the Skipping Girl Vinegar sign, affectionately known as ‘Little Audrey’, in Richmond.

In her honour, Fusion Property Group has released their latest offering of boutique living with the Audrey Apartments.

The stylish one and two bedroom apartments were designed by award winning architects Rothe Lowman and range in price from $495,000 to $655,000.

The Audrey Apartments are located on Victoria Street, close to the ‘Little Saigon’ restaurant precinct, and is literally steps to the Yarra River and its surrounding parklands.

Construction is expected to start next month. For further information, find it on Thehomepage.

Taking luxury living a step further

A full-floor apartment development in Brisbane, named The Macrossan Residences, is set to elevate its luxury concept even further, with experienced hotelier Michael Cohen securing the management rights and planning to introduce a hotel-style service for residents.

The boutique building will feature a total of 42 apartments, including 28 full-floor residences each spanning about 266sqm.

It will also offer a whole floor dedicated to amenities, including a private wine cellar and tasting room, undercover pool, steam room, sauna, gym and treatment room, and a resident business centre, which includes 13 executive office spaces available for sale to residents.

Mr Cohen, who has more than 30 years experience in the hospitality industry, said he planned on utilising his hotel experience to offer a new level of convenience for residents, through the introduction of a computerised concierge service.

“It would be a first for a residential development in Brisbane and would link residents of the project with local businesses such as dry cleaners, chauffers and florists... well outside standard business hours,” says Cohen.

Colliers International residential project marketing director, Ben Langfield, said The Macrossan Residences appeals to purchasers who want to enjoy the convenience of apartment living, without having to compromise on space.

“We have received strong interest, in particular, from expats and existing apartment owners who... are attracted to the full-floor concept and the boutique nature of the building. Providing plenty of space also means greater privacy and fewer neighbours, creating a real community feel,” says Langfield.

Remaining apartments in The Macrossan Residences are priced from $2.25 million.
